I wished to share with you a bit about why we developed our summertime reading program.

For me, it was since of my trainees.

For many years of mentor in my personal learning center, moms and dads would bring their kids to me that were behind in reading and spelling.

Often they were simply a bit behind, in some cases they were method behind, and often they were at grade level and just wanted to progress quicker.

In some cases this was since the students had finding out difficulties like dyslexia and ADHD. Other times, this was simply because the instructors did not teach all of the particular abilities needed to read.

The program does take some participation from a moms and dad for grades K-2, however for grades 3-8, many kids can do most activities in the program on their own.
